[tips]

Tips

  • Avoid hot, direct, intense sun when applying.  Mornings and Evenings are best if it's blistering hot
  • Product stays soft, flexible and may have some tackiness, not meant as a constant walking surface
  • Apply next heavy coat when it's dry to touch (typically 12-24 hours), make sure there is no uncured material underneath.  Tacky is ok
  • Generally you can apply 1-2 heavy coats per day
  • Apply all material until you use up the required amount
  • Do not combine Black products with Coloured products, use one or the other
  • For larger areas, pour out and spread around with a broom, roller or squeegee
  • If corrosion/rust is present, use Liquid Rubber MetalSafe Sealant
  • Use EPDM Primer for EPDM substrates.  Use Multi-Purpose Primer for PVC and Concrete Surfaces
  • Apply above 5C/40F
  • Curing time depends on temperature, humidity and airflow
  • Apply next coat(s) as soon as possible not allowing extended time between if possible
  • Safe for Fish and Plants
  • Membrane will turn Brown in ponding situations due to surfactants.  Will dissipate over time as the water cycles
  • Do not apply later in the day if Dew is forecast

Made my pond brand new!

Our pond had sprung a slow leak, and rather than hire a pond guy to come out and try to find/fix the leak, we took it upon ourselves to DIY it. I'm so glad we did. We cleaned out all the muck that had accumulated over the last 20 + years, and saved our precious goldfish and some lilies ~ and our pond is now better-looking than it EVER has been. The Liquid Rubber sealed up whatever leak there was (we did 3 coats), and it just looks so GOOD now! So glad fwe heard about this product!

Initial application

Hello!
Yes! I applied the first coat to my 10X10 storage shed, and am now waiting for rain to determine if I need to apply another coat.i say this because before I bought your product I sprayed the roof with aerosol water proofing products and
Believe I got a lot of the leaks stopped, but not all’s my thoughts are taking me to the “possibility” I may need “just “ one coat of liquid rubber to finish the job.if not, then i have “half”a pail left to apply additional coats. Will comment when we get some serious rain….thanks!

Cantilever Decking

There is a cantilever decking area of my home the has leaked for years. Fluctuating temperature combined with small movement between the 2 structures have rendered every sealant I’ve tried over the years useless. Liquid Rubber is looking to be the solution after surviving freezing temperatures in the evening & 80s during the day with no leaks from the 1st heavy rain.
