We have had basement issues for years. Water seeping thru the block walls and always breaking out the wet vacs to get the water up. I could actually see the water seeping thru. Got so tired of this BS. Started researching products and reading reviews and came across this. I will review this as a big test is coming today with winter storm Izzy. I applied the first coat yesterday and found it had dried to the touch within 3 hours. I saw complaints that it never dried, I say to those folks, you put your first coat on too thick. My wife looked at the horribly crooked line and decided I needed to coat two more courses of the block but use tape this time to make the line straight. Wives seem to know better ways. So got up this morning and placed a second coat over my work from yesterday and painted the next two courses above that. And yes, I used tape. Even tho it bled a little under the tape it does look a lot better. As for the brown color, I am glad it goes on brown as it shows, very clearly, if you miss any spot on your recoat. Anyway, Storm is coming in a couple of hours and we will see if I have any leaks in the places I coated yesterday as these were the places I could see water coming in. OH... I did use a space heater in the room. This may have helped with the drying process.
The only con I have is that it does not clean off my hands very easily. Used warm water and soap and it will not come off.
The Product was easy to work with!!! Now let's see the durability!!!
Our pond had sprung a slow leak, and rather than hire a pond guy to come out and try to find/fix the leak, we took it upon ourselves to DIY it. I'm so glad we did. We cleaned out all the muck that had accumulated over the last 20 + years, and saved our precious goldfish and some lilies ~ and our pond is now better-looking than it EVER has been. The Liquid Rubber sealed up whatever leak there was (we did 3 coats), and it just looks so GOOD now! So glad fwe heard about this product!
Yes! I applied the first coat to my 10X10 storage shed, and am now waiting for rain to determine if I need to apply another coat.i say this because before I bought your product I sprayed the roof with aerosol water proofing products and
Believe I got a lot of the leaks stopped, but not all’s my thoughts are taking me to the “possibility” I may need “just “ one coat of liquid rubber to finish the job.if not, then i have “half”a pail left to apply additional coats. Will comment when we get some serious rain….thanks!
