This is a super simple application. The Mulch Glue is ready to use right out of the jug. Just give it a good stir and apply. You can use a garden sprayer, or my personal favorite, just use your watering can so you don’t have to buy anything special. You’ll be done in a day!

1 gallon per 50 sq ft (4.7 sq/m). Apply 1/2 gallon for the first coat over 50 sq ft and the other 1/2 gallon for the next/final coat.

PREPARATION

The first step of using liquid rubber mulch glue is to prepare the area so you get optimal performance and minimal maintenance.

Place a minimum thickness of 2 inches of mulch, pea gravel, or stone 24-48 hours before application to allow it to properly dry.

Pea gravel and stone must be rinsed with a garden hose to remove dust/contaminants.

Rake or turn the mulch to accelerate and provide for even drying. (Moisture may affect adhesion and performance or cause blushing)

APPLICATION

Do not dilute. Just mix well before use.

Protect surfaces not intended to be treated like shrubs, plants and trees.

Work in smaller sections (25 sq ft) to be sure you are achieving the coverage rate.

Apply using a garden sprayer with a fan tip (a watering can can also be used). Take care not to oversaturate as this can extend drying times and cause blushing.

For the first coat, apply 1/2 gallon for a 50 sq ft area to the top of loose mulch.

Compact and allow to dry 1-2 hours or dry to the touch, before applying your second coat.

Apply the second 1/2 gallon to same 50 sq ft area.

Allow 4-6 hours to dry.

Apply in dry, warm temperatures.

10c/50f and above.

Below 80% humidity.

Avoid direct, hot, intense sun.

TIPS & TRICKS

Use disposable gloves.

Not for use in pedestrian walkways, roadways or where significant waterflow occurs.

Do not let products freeze in their containers.
